Hi, it’s Bonnie here!
Prior to qualifying as a counsellor, I work as a wedding planner for over a decade. I am passionate about helping individuals and couples with relational issues, including LGBT+, premarital and marital. I also have experience with people from diversified backgrounds with emotional and mental struggles, including anxiety, depression, stress, borderline personality and psychosis.
Being a people person, I am keen to provide a non-judgmental environment to together progress through a meaningful self-discovering journey. I believe mental wellbeing is as valuable as physical wellbeing.
I have achieved my Master of Social Sciences in Counselling from The University of Hong Kong, after holding a Bachelor in Anthropology from University College London in the UK. I am also a member of The Hong Kong Professional Counselling Association (HKPCA).
I am trilingual in Cantonese, English and Mandarin. I draw upon therapeutic approaches such as Person-Centred Therapy, Positive Psychology and Strength-Based Interventions, and Satir Transformational Systemic Therapy.
